True marriage has lost a lot of it's luster. It is a very uncommon thing in this day and age. A true marriage consists of love, respect, compromise, friendship, and trust. A true marriage has true love! This in itself if unheard of these days. It is funny how people actually mock love at first sight, and true love, and happily ever after. It does happen all of the time, and it is not just a fairy tale.
True marriage does not end in a divorce, does not include child support and custody battles. True marriage does not know adultery or abuse. A true marriage is the unification of souls into one committed entity. If you have not heard of a true marriage, you are not alone. Over half of the marriages in this nation end in divorce. I would venture to say half of the rest are miserable, or are living lies. True marriages are far and few between because people do not take their time, they do not open themselves to the possibility of waiting for the right person. Most of the time people are looking in the wrong places. They settle for mr/mrs right now, instead of being patient and finding mr/mrs right. They may believe they love this person, this shell, this persona they believe is true until they find the truth months, sometimes years later.
True marriage always has true love! True love is the best gift a human being can give or receive. To be completely open and honest with another human being and not have to worry about being embarrassed or scrutinized. To be able to trust another person in any situation regardless of the factors involved. To feel the respect of another individual who you happen to respect most. To be able to compromise so that both of you are happy with the outcome and not have to resort to argument. To know that you have someone who will always be there for you no matter what happens. These are just some of the benefits of having that true love. True love is as difficult a prize as an olympic gold medal, maybe more difficult for some. Once you have it, you know you can accomplish anything in life and you know you will be happy no matter what happens. Then you really can have a happily ever after.
Happily ever after is not just a fairy tale, it is a reality as long as you know how to find it. Work for it rather. Happily ever after is the result of a lifetime of compromise and patience. It is something very few are able to accomplish. Once you have found your true love, and you work towards a true marriage, you then have a true family. This true family will be your supporting foundation to the architectural plans of this happily ever after blueprint. If you are lucky enough to find love, marriage and family in all of their true forms, you will know happiness and will have no problem living happily ever after!
